While i read this book, i felt like run away from alot of mechanical things. Meanwhile, in the future Ecotopia, individuals move the local economy toward a more sustainable model.
It’s important that books like this exist. Cool girl, scientist character.
Because she is emergign to make the cell design freely available, she spurns corporate and academic offers to buy the cell design. Eventually, a large part of the public is car-free and ready to take the final steps to a sustainable economy. This book is hopeful, to me, about future solutions.
But none of that is terribly important compared to the ideas and hope it contains.
