To put your own existence on the line, because human and fae cannot be together. My dominating reaction while reading All That Glows? Emrys couldn’t have just gone from fae to mortal and have made the transition well and easy and everyone accepted her and they rode off into the sunset and lived happily ever after – no, not realistic at all.

Emrys’s personality and “youngness” is hand-waved away by saying that, in Faery-years, she’s apparently the human equivalent of a teenager, which The first time they meet, there’s this spark between them you’d be right if you guessed that “spark” would be important later! Emrys is tasked with fining the escapee and bringing them back before any danger can happen to either world.
After the very first page to the rgan end I felt nothing but annoyance with these characters and their idiocy. Having given up her magic for the love of her King, Emrys is acting as liason between the Fae court and the human one. Additionally, the ‘plot’ is all wrapped up via the longest Bwahaha-I’ve-won!

Amazon Music Stream millions of songs. With ancient Fae starting to rise against mortals to go back to the way it used to be, Emrys needs to protect Richard and figure out if loving him will be gloes losing all of her magic. She proved that she was tough with or without magic.
I beta-read this for Ryan and her writing is beautiful!!! I am fan for sure. Dec 05, Tabitha rated it it was ok Shelves: And the atmosphere that the author create was lovely. The romance was super sweet. Graudin sets up early on that Richard, despite his reckless ways, is a good lad at heart.
There were a lot of unexpected scenes and revealed secrets that made the ending of this story mind-blowing and I wasn’t expecting at all, since everyone looked guilty to me. There is a historical part to ylows book that the author uses a lot, and I liked graudih.
